- 2 large sweet potatoes about 1.5 lbs, peeled and cut into ¾-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon dried sage
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter cut into small cubes
Step 1 — Preheat and Prep
Preheat smoker or grill for indirect heat at 275°F.
Whisk olive oil, sage, and cayenne in a small bowl.
