Ingredients
Steaksirloin or flank, thinly sliced
Salt and black pepper
Paprika
Olive oil and butter
1onionfinely diced
3garlic clovesminced

1.5cupscrushed tomatoes
2.5cupsbeef or chicken broth
Carrotscut into strips

Instructions
Step 1: Sear the Steak
In a large skillet or pot, heat a drizzle of oil and a knob of butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and sear them until browned on all sides.
Add the tomato paste to the mixture and stir well to coat the steak and vegetables.
Step 4 : Cook the Pasta
stir in the uncooked pasta, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Pour the beef broth into the skillet, enough to cover the pasta. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and let it simmer. Stir occasionally until the pasta is al dente and the sauce has reduced and thickened.
Step 5 : Serve
Once the pasta is cooked, serve immediately. For an extra touch, you can sprinkle shredded cheese on top just before serving.
