Ingredients

  • 250 g about 2 cups chocolate cookies (Oreo-type, filling removed)
  • 90 g melted butter ≈ 6 tbsp
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 450 g 16 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 120 g 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200 g 7 oz dark chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder sifted
  • 250 ml 1 cup heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks
  • 100 g 3.5 oz dark or milk chocolate
  • 60 –80 g toasted hazelnuts chopped

Instructions

Step 1 Preparation

  • Crush cookies into crumbs, Mix with melted butter and cocoa, and Press into a lined springform pan. Chill 20 minutes.

Step 2 Chocolate Cream

  • Beat cream cheese smooth. Add sugar, vanilla, and cocoa, Pour in melted chocolate. Mix until smooth. and Fold in whipped cream gently.

Step 3 Assemble and Chill
