- 250 g about 2 cups chocolate cookies (Oreo-type, filling removed)
- 90 g melted butter ≈ 6 tbsp
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 450 g 16 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 120 g 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200 g 7 oz dark chocolate, melted and cooled
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder sifted
- 250 ml 1 cup heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks
- 100 g 3.5 oz dark or milk chocolate
- 60 –80 g toasted hazelnuts chopped
Step 2 Chocolate Cream
Beat cream cheese smooth. Add sugar, vanilla, and cocoa, Pour in melted chocolate. Mix until smooth. and Fold in whipped cream gently.
Step 3 Assemble and Chill
Step 4 Ganache and Finish
Melt chocolate, cool slightly, spread over cheesecake, Sprinkle hazelnuts, and Chill 20 minutes before slicing.
Use milk chocolate for a sweeter version.
Freeze up to one month, thaw overnight in fridge.
