Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 12 Medjool dates pitted
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 –2 tbsp water as needed

Instructions

Step 1:

  • Add walnuts, almonds, dates, cacao powder, vanilla extract, and salt to a food processor. Blend until a sticky dough forms.

Step 2:

  • If the mixture is too dry, add 1–2 tablespoons of water and blend again until it sticks together.

Step 3:

  • Add mini chocolate chips and pulse a few times to combine.

Step 4:

  • Scoop the mixture using a tablespoon or cookie scoop and roll into small balls.

Step 5:

  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for a firmer texture.

  • Use soft Medjool dates for best texture
  • If dates are dry, soak them in warm water for 5–10 minutes
