  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 8 oz dry pasta (penne or rotini)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot and sauté garlic for 30 seconds
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.

Ground beef browning in a hot skillet with a pat of melting butter, whole garlic cloves, and a wooden spatula.
Sautéing the ground beef with butter and garlic builds the foundational flavors for the sauce.
  3. Stir in pasta, beef broth, and cream.

Heavy cream being poured into a skillet with uncooked fusilli pasta and cooked ground beef to create a creamy sauce.
The secret to the creamy texture: pouring in the heavy cream to create the delicious sauce.
  4. Bring to a boil, reduce to low, and cover.
  5. Simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once pasta is cooked, stir in Parmesan.

A hand sprinkling a generous amount of freshly grated cheese over a skillet of creamy beef pasta.
Don’t be shy with the cheese! Adding freshly grated Parmesan for the ultimate creamy, savory finish.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture.
