Description
Creamy One-Pan Chicken Bacon Gnocchi is a 30-minute dinner loaded with juicy chicken, crispy bacon, soft gnocchi, and a rich garlic-Parmesan sauce all cooked in one skillet.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
- 2 medium chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 large garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy/whipping cream
- 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 lb uncooked potato gnocchi
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a deep skillet, fry bacon until crispy (about 10 mins). Remove and set aside, reserving 1 tbsp bacon fat.
- Add diced chicken to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until white on the outside.
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté briefly.
- Reduce heat, then add broth, cream, Italian seasoning, gnocchi, and return bacon. Stir, cover, and cook for 4 minutes.
- Uncover and simmer a few more minutes, stirring until sauce thickens.
- Stir in Parmesan and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use shelf-stable gnocchi found in the pasta aisle—no need to boil.
- You can add spinach or mushrooms for variation.
- Leftovers keep well in the fridge for 3–4 days but don’t freeze.
